Q & M Dental Group (“Q & M” or the “Group”) [QC7.SI] is a growing private dental healthcare group in Asia. It was listed on the Mainboard of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (“SGX-ST”) on 26 November 2009. The Group operates the largest network of private dental outlets in Singapore and is building its presence in the People’s Republic of China (“PRC”) and Malaysia.

Founded in 1996, Q & M has built an established brand through its reputation as a reliable provider of quality dental healthcare services. In Singapore, the Group has more than 60 dental clinics strategically located island-wide. It also owns dental supplies and equipment distribution companies in Singapore. The Group has a team of more than 200 experienced dentists, supported by about 380 clinical and administrative staff in Singapore, to provide quality service to its patient pool of more than 600,000 island-wide.

People’s Republic of China

The Group has invested in Aoxin Q & M Dental Group (“Aoxin”, www.aoxinqm.com.sg) which operates 4 dental hospitals and 7 dental polyclinics in the Liaoning Province. Listed on the Catalist Board of SGX-ST since 26 April 2017, Aoxin is a leading provider of private dental healthcare services with a rich history dating back to 1997. Supported by 240 dental professionals, the majority of Aoxin’s dental outlets are accredited as Designated Medical Institutions of Medical Insurance. In its aspirations to establish a strong dental value chain, Aoxin acquired a dental equipment and supplies distribution business, Shenyang Maotai Q & M Medical Equipment Co., Ltd. (“Maotai”) in January 2016. Currently, Maotai’s distribution network covers Liaoning, Heilongjiang and Jilin Provinces.

The Group also has another clinic in Shanghai, Alpha Dental Clinic (www.alphadental.cn/en/), which was established since 2004.

The Group has also invested in a specialized dental materials manufacturer known as Aidite (Qinhuangdao) Technology Co., Limited (“Aidite”, www.zro2blocks.com/en/) in Hebei Province. Aidite manufactures a dental ceramics product known as zirconium oxide blocks which are used in computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing (“CAD CAM”) machines in the fabrication of dental prosthesis. In December 2016, Aidite was successfully listed on the New Third Board in Beijing.

Malaysia (www.QandM.com.my)

In Malaysia, it currently operates three dental outlets in Klang Valley, four dental clinics in Johor, and one dental clinic in Malacca. Venturing upstream, the Group has a 70% stake in a dental supplies and equipment distribution company, AR Dental Supplies Sdn. Bhd..

The Group has a total staff strength of about 110 for its operations in Malaysia. In 2015, the Malaysia clinics were awarded:

    • Frost & Sullivan Best Practices Award – Malaysia Dental Company of the year.
    • Natural Health Readers’ Choice Award – Best Family Dental.

In May 2015, the Group announced that it is exploring a possible spin-off of its subsidiaries, Q & M Dental Holdings (China) Pte Ltd (“QDHC”) and Q & M Dental Group (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (“QDGM”) via a listing on a reputable Stock Exchange. QDHC is in the business of operating dental outlets in PRC, while QDGM is in the business of operating dental clinics and a dental supplies and equipment distribution company in Malaysia.
